Finance Department

The Finance Department of the City of Murray operates the Murray Municipal Utilities billing and collection services as well as performs Accounting and Information Technology functions for the City.

Mission Statement

The Finance Department of the City of Murray adds value to the lives of our City's citizens and the surrounding community by supporting those who provide goods and services within our organization in the following areas:

• Murray Municipal Utilities provides customer service, billing, and meter reading services in an efficient and timely manner; while at all times, displaying and communicating professionalism, consideration, and respect for others.
• The Accounting Department preserves the financial integrity of the City of Murray while providing relevant financial information in a timely manner to accurately report the City's financial position and offer guidance for decision-making.
• The Information Technology Department builds and maintains an infrastructure that enhances and facilitates daily operations within our organization.
