Assistance to Other Departments

Two examples of where the Street Department provides assistance to other departments within the city in the interest of the public are the Spring Brush and Fall Leaf Pick-ups. In an effort to better serve the needs of the community, the Street Department assists the Sanitation Department, by providing these two services at specific times each year. Due to the manpower required to perform these services, much of the other work performed by the department is placed on hold during these times.
