In order to prepare for the growth of Murray, any property subdivided within four (4) miles of the center of the City of Murray corporate limits (intersection of U.S. 641 and KY 94) must meet the 1971 City of Murray Subdivision Regulations and must be approved by the Planning Commission prior to recording the plat in the Calloway County Clerk's office. Property owners must submit four (4) copies of the plat signed by the owner(s) to the Planning and Engineering Department located in city hall for review prior to approval. The Subdivision Regulations address street, drainage, parking and plat requirements.
